Rebekah Vardy opens up about her past relationships and how she now has ‘zero tolerance’ for cheating

REBEKAH Vardy has revealed how being abused as a child led her into a cycle of violent relationships – and that she no longer stands for "bad behaviour" when it comes to relationships.
Rebekah finally got her happy ending after she wed footballer Jamie Vardy, 29, earlier this year, but it's not been an easy journey for the gorgeous 34-year-old.
At the age of just 13, Rebekah alleges that she began being abused by a family friend and that the experience led to her trying to take her own life.
She told : "I would freeze every single time, terrified. I didn’t know what to do. I would just cry in my room later. I bottled it all up.”
As her abuse continued, and she became more distressed, the star turned to booze and began to lash out at school and at home.
Sadly for Rebekah, when she plucked up the courage to tell someone what was happening to her, she claims that her mum refused to believe her, owing to her bad behaviour.
"She said, 'Don’t be ridiculous, you are lying.' I’d been naughty for so long she thought I was talking nonsense."
But she didn’t let the horrific ordeal break her.
She said: "I was sleeping on sofas, working in a bar at 16. I never saw myself as a victim – I still don’t. I was just very troubled and sad and no one cared enough to find out why.’"
After escaping the abuse, Rebekah met her first husband, Mark Godden – who she married when she was just 19.
The marriage lasted less than six months, and marked the beginning of a cycle of toxic relationships.

Rebekah then found herself pregnant with her first child at the age of 22 – and admits that she was originally advised to get have an abortion.
However, Rebekah refused and went on to give birth to her daughter, Megan, now 11.
Later on, she finally thought she'd found ‘The One’ when she met footballer Luke Foster and had her second child, Taylor, now six.
But according to Rebekah, their six-year relationship was difficult, she said:
"It wasn’t a good relationship. I stayed with him because I felt worthless.
"I was a woman with two children by different men and I was often told that by everyone around me.”
The pretty WAG also let loose on her “zero tolerance” policy if hubby Jamie were to cheat on her.
“I will not stand for bad behaviour. I’ve been through enough in my life.”
However, Rebekah is now adamant that she would rather be defined by her three kids than the fact that she is marriage to a famous footballer, adding: "Being a mum is a proper job."
