BAG A BARGAIN

Want a designer handbag for a fraction of the price? Save £1,000 with Zara’s Fendi lookalike

WITH a saving of over £950, you can't go wrong

WE'D all love to buy our own Fendi handbags, but sadly not all of us can afford the designer price tag.

With celebrity fans including Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner, their leather luxuries certainly don't come cheap.

But we're in luck, as this season high street saviour Zara has released a stylish handbag that bears an uncanny resemblance to those spotted on the Milan catwalk in February this year.

The Italian fashion house displayed their beautiful handbags, that come complete with adjustable straps, during their AW16/17 show in February.

As supermodel Kendall opened the runway with one of their new designs on her arm, fashion worshippers the world over immediately fell in love.

But due to their unrivalled quality and original design, the straps alone will set you back over £1,000. Meanwhile, their bags can cost up to £4,000.

But Zara's take on the new-season style comes in at an astounding £39.99 - including, of course, the 100% leather handbag, as well as an alternative black strap for a more casual look.

With a saving of over £950 for the strap alone, we predict that this bag will be a best-seller this season.

This Zara item isn't the first to catch the eye of bargain hunters, either.

Spanish designer Balenciaga sent fashion fans into a tizz over the £975 stripy Bazar leather tote, that went on sale last month.

However it was quickly noted that the bag looked similar to an ordinary vinyl washing bag, that typically sells for just £1.

Meanwhile, designers Anya Hindmarch and Moschino also offer handbags based upon standard household items such as washing powder and crisp packets.
