First Dates fans fall in love with a fun-loving 66-year-old…but her potential suitor turns her down with an outrageous ‘oh god, no’
Mother-of-five, Teresa, captured fans with hilarious jokes like: "The Irish don't leave no drink behind."

AN outgoing 66-year-old who described her self as the 'queen' of gay bars won a field of admirers when she appeared on last night's First Dates.
Mother-of-five Teresa, who is originally from Ireland, has been single for 20 years and captured the hearts of viewers with her lust for life.
The purple-haired Londoner brought an energetic and bubbly nature to the show but her date James, also 66, found it a bit too much to handle.
So much so, in fact, that when asked if they would see each other again he responded with: "Oh god, no!"
Teresa arrived at the First Dates restaurant with her son Darren who she regularly enjoys nights out on the town with.
She said: "Darren takes me off to the gay bars. I'm treated like a queen with all the gay fellas.
"They love me. And I love them."
She became even more adored when, before her date arrived, she told barman Merlin Griffiths: "Put the double in, you might as well. I'm here for the night."
She confessed she was looking for someone just like herself to go out with and "have bit of madness in your life".

Once James, a former builder, arrived she made doubly sure not to leave her vodka at the bar, saying: "The Irish don't leave no drink behind."
After this, Twitter was swamped with notes of adoration for Teresa.
LaobhaoiseNiEanachan was one of Teresa's many fans, describing her as "an absolute tonic".
"Zest for life & great craic," she said. "Easily known she's Irish."
Trollybird thought she was hilarious, and said Teresa would be "my kind of girl on a night out", while HannahRussty added: "Teresa is my spirit animal. I love her."
Others declared they wanted to go clubbing with Teresa while some declared they were obsessed with her.
At first Teresa seemed to hit it off with jiving James, who says he will dance to just about anything and told of his love for Usher and Akon.
But the father-of-two was left a little overwhelmed by Teresa's energy, especially after she tried to encourage him to dance in the restaurant despite the lack of music.
"If I was going to a party she'd be invited. I think she could be too much for me. I think she could go over the limit," he confessed.
After the meal, as tradition on the dating show, the pair were taken into a room and asked if they would be seeing each other again.
Teresa said: "I don't think so, not as a date."
To which a visibly relieved James said: "Oh god, no."
Not the smoothest move in the book, but effective nonetheless.
Teresa looked a little offended but laughed it off, telling him: "No, no, no, say what you feel."
Fans immediately reacted to the awkward exchange.
Jonoread tweeted: "James and Teresa were doing so well. But "oh god no" is never the answer to you want to hear when asked about a second date."
PaolaOeste admitted the reaction was "harsh" while others thought he didn't mean it in a bad way.
Either way, Teresa didn't seem too bothered that their romance would never blossom.
She said: "'I'd be too wild for him. He wouldn't be on the same bus as me. I'd be the driver."
