MOST people have there own way of getting over a night of over-indulgence, but tucking into a plate of eggs and bacon has to be one of the most famous hangover cures.
It turns out it isn't just an old wives' tale either - tucking into a full English breakfast when you're feeling a bit the worse for wear really will improve things.
Next time you wake up with a sore head and a funny tummy, heading to your local cafe could be just the ticket.
Research involving 2,000 Brits looked at ways they try to cure the dreaded hangover.
It was found that 38 per cent of those who ate a fry up the morning after recovered within three hours.
To put it into perspective, only 19 per cent of those who opted for painkillers felt better in the time frame.
Sadly for those who use hangovers as a way to get a duvet day, only three per cent of those who stayed in bed hit the target.
The survey was conducted by British Lion eggs, which was fitting as eggs are a lot of people's hangover cure.

They are especially good when you've been boozing as they contain a lot of cysteine, which helps break down the toxins in the liver which leave you with a the telltale hangover signs like headaches and sickness.
So it stands to reason that having a couple of fried eggs with your brekkie will leave you feeling better.

Baked beans also have protein in then, plus they help target those pesky hangover toxins.
If all else fails you could stick to this new beer, which it's claimed doesn't cause a hangover.
