Negan’s not broken Daryl yet! Walking Dead fans think they’ve spotted a secret code on the show in latest episode
Eagle-eyed fans think that Rick and Daryl actually do have a plan

THE last time we saw Daryl, he was being dragged around Alexandria by Walking Dead baddie Negan after being horribly tortured by the Saviours.
Although he seems like a broken man, believe the fan-favourite was actually trying to pass a message to Rick via Morse Code.
Neither Rick nor Daryl is having a particularly good time of it this season, after seeing Glenn and Abraham beaten to death.
In the traumatic opening episode, Negan, the terrifying leader of The Saviours, brought Rick to the brink of cutting his own son’s arm off, and he currently has Daryl imprisoned in his compound, listening to Easy Street on a loop in an attempt to break him.
When Rick and Daryl came face to face in last week’s episode, it was a sorry sight as they used to be an unstoppable team rather than the beaten down duo fans are currently watching.
Rick tried to speak to his friend but Daryl remained silent, following Negan’s orders. However, that’s not to say they didn’t communicate, with many thinking Daryl's blinking was a secret message in Morse Code.
In past seasons, when Daryl and his now dead brother Merle would hunt together, they’d use various hand and eye signals to communicate.
Even Carol taught Daryl a form of Morse Code while they were rescuing Beth, so the character does know how to use it.

There was also a lingering scene with Michonne in front of a Morse Code board which, for a show that is packed full of premonitions, implies it means something important.
Most people on Reddit think Daryl is trying to convey the location of Negan's compound to Rick, with some deciphering “six miles east of the Hilltop”.
A fan asked show creator Scott M Gimple about the theory and he told : “I would say this theory makes it official that this show has the greatest viewers and fans around.
“I love the amount of attention and imagination that is brought to this show by the audience. That is why we take crazy risks that we do. That’s why we try to invite the conversation that can occur with bug, huge story turns.”
After this week's snooze-fest of an episode, this would bring some comfort to fans that Rick actually does have a plan and hasn't completely surrendered to Negan and The Saviours.
