GOOGLE can answer many of life’s questions – and now the search engine has released a list of the most commonly asked beauty queries.
Unruly hair and bags under the eyes are among our big woes.
So here, celebrity make-up artist Julia Bowden shares her expert answers with LYNSEY CLARKE.

SPRAY on a heat protector and clamp a piece of hair in some straightening irons.
Working from the top, gently twist hair back on itself while sweeping irons downward.

PLACE a credit card vertically beside your nose, use eyeshadow to mark where it meets the brow bone.
Tilt the top of the card until its edge meets your eye’s outer corner.

USE matte bronzer, or tawny or light-brown eyeshadow, without any shimmer.

USE a square inch of opaque tape and stick in a 45-degree upward angle just below where you want the flick, after checking your skin is not allergic to it.
Repeat on other side, symmetrically.
Apply liquid liner with a stiff-angled brush, working inside out.
Blend over edge of the tape. Once dry, peel back.
How do I... fishtail braid?
FIX your hair into a ponytail and add a light coat of hairspray so the hair is not slippery.
Part into two sections. Take a piece from the outside of the left section and fold it over the top so it joins the inside of the right section.
Repeat on the other side and then pull tight.
Continue this pattern and secure with band.
