Singleton launches into a crazed text rant when she’s rejected by a man who she went on one date with… but there’s a twist
The toe-curlingly awkward text exchange has been sweeping the web
IT’S no secret that rejection can be tough to deal with.
And this was certainly the case for one singleton who went into total meltdown when she was rejected... by a man she wasn’t even interested in.
The cringe-worthy exchange began with a man telling his date that it was really great meeting her.
Instead of echoing the kind sentiment, the spurned woman replied: “I really don’t see you as a romantic partner but I hope we can be friends.”
At first, it does look like they could be mates, as the chap responded: “I felt the same way, so I’m really glad you said that”.
But instead, this seemed to send the unidentified woman into complete meltdown.
To the confusion of the recipient, she hit back: “Excuse me??? Wtf…
“I know rejection stings but you don’t have to get salty and attempt to throw it back in my face!”

The shocked man tried to calm the situation down, explaining that he had only text her “because it’s the polite and appropriate thing to do”.
This doesn’t seem to ease the tension, as the angry woman branded him “pathetic”, before getting VERY personal.
She said: “The amount of hair you’ve lost at 30 makes you look 40 and you walk like an old man.”
Not wanting to go down without a fight, the man responded: “You were about 100 lbs heavier than your photo implied, something you can change, and up until now I said nothing about it.”
He then told the singleton that he wasn’t interested because she showed up late and spent the whole date on her phone.
This is the tip of the iceberg for the irate dater, who ranted: “OMFG You’re making fun of my weight? Wow… you really are such a f***ing loser.
“Have fun trying to attract a woman with that tiny d*** $55k salary LOL LOSER!”
After the bloke understandably remarks that he’s dodged a bullet, he says that he hopes that the woman’s expletive filled tirade helps her sleep better at night.
The hilariously awkward text exchange was posted to Reddit yesterday.
It’s since been viewed of 350,000 times and racked up over 5,500 comments.
Internet users were NOT impressed with the spurned dater’s attitude.
One said: “You really dodged that bullet. Good riddance.”
Another Redditor accused the woman of being “self-centred, insecure, immature and mean-spirited”.
Others tried to explain why the singleton was so annoyed.
They said: “Lol she wanted him to work for it... try to change her mind. He wasn't having any of it.. love it.”
Another agreed: “I get the feeling she actually wanted to hurt him.
“Make him upset. To make herself feel better about herself.”
