THE amount of time Brits spend using dating apps on their work phone has doubled in the past year.
Workers now spend an average 47 minutes a week seeking hook-ups on their company device with Tinder, Happn and Bumble the most popular sites.
Adding use of the apps on personal gadgets is likely to see the total rocket.
The average dating app session on work mobiles is seven minutes and 51 seconds, with users logging on five to six times a week.
Most employees wait till night to swipe or check matches, with the 11pm-1am slot most active.
The most popular time for UK users to log on at work is 12.10pm. Tinder usage peaks at 7.01pm, Grindr at 11.55pm and Match 5.20pm, analysis of 100,000 work phones revealed.
Thursday is the top day to look. Most apps show users photos of potential dates, which they swipe one way if they’d like to meet and the other to dismiss.
If both want to meet they can swap messages.
Dating app usage on work mobiles grew by 71 per cent between 2015/16 and 2016/17, data management firm Wandera revealed.
