Laura Kitt, 29, from Carmarthenshire, is saving a fortune by using items bought online to tie the knot to James Griffiths, 30

A BARGAIN-HUNTING bride has revealed how she has bought everything for her big day from GUMTREE.
Super-savvy Laura Kitt, 29, is saving a fortune by using the website to source what she needs to tie the knot to James Griffiths, 30, on a picturesque farm owned by her parents.
She faced a massive bill to deck out the barn with more than 150 guests turning up at the farm for her big day.
But instead of splashing out on overpriced chairs, tables and extra decorations, Laura has been busy snapping up steals online.
She also found curtains to cover chairs, lampshades, sofas, rugs, blankets and mirrors.
All the crafty couple have to do now is decorate the day with their best buys that cost under £2,000.
Laura and James now reckon that that they’ve saved themselves more than £10,000 on their wedding after scouring online marketplace Gumtree.
Laura, from Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, said: "As we are getting married in my parents farm, we realised that we needed a lot of chairs.
"We were looking on various sites and some were asking for £1,000. A lot of the designs were also really boring.
"In the end we decided to look on Gumtree. Chairs were either free or really cheap. We managed to get 160 from various places.
"We mainly went for wood, we have had a lot of painting to do making sure the colours were either green, cream or blue. Luckily, our friends and family have been great helping us paint them.
"We have also got old curtains to cover the chairs, lampshades, sofas, rugs, blankets and mirrors, we are having a chill-out zone in our wedding which is where most of those items are going.
Money saving essentials
"We are not your normal couple, we wanted something quirky, different and personal to us."
Laura even entered a competition on Gumtree and ended up in a promotional video and won £500.
She added: "They are even coming to our wedding to film another video.
"I am so glad that I used Gumtree, we have saved so much money and it's been a lot of fun organising it."
