Tesco Clubcard users can get even bigger Eat Out to Help Out discounts at Pizza Express and Hungry Horse using vouchers
TESCO Clubcard users can get an even better deal under the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme by using vouchers to get meals completely for free.
The free loyalty card enables you to earn points when you shop at any Tesco store or online, which you can then turn into vouchers to spend on days out, petrol, shopping or bars, and restaurants.
Points are traded for vouchers worth three times their value. So say you earn £5 in Clubcard points, this would be worth £15 in reward vouchers.
But now you can use Clubcard vouchers alongside the governments’ Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which gives 50 per cent off meals and non-alcoholic drinks up to £10 a head on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August.
Clubcard vouchers can currently be used at ASK Italian, Chef and Brewer, Hungry Horse pubs, Pizza Express, Prezzo, and Zizzi - and all of these chains have signed up to Eat Out to Help Out too.
All of the chains, bar Pizza Express which is yet to confirm, all told The Sun there was no cap on the amount of vouchers you can use.
How do I sign up for Tesco Clubcard vouchers?
HERE'S what you need to know about Tesco's Clubcard scheme and how to get rewards vouchers to spend at restaurants.
You first need to sign up for a Clubcard, which you can join online for free on .
Once you've received it, each time you spend £1 in store and online you get one point when you scan your card or app.
You also get one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you £1.50, for example.
You have to have a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.
Once you have enough points, you can now turn them into vouchers of the face value to spend in store, or you can triple their worth to spend at reward partners, including certain restaurants.
You can request and receive vouchers within 24 hours on your Clubcard account online or on the Clubcard app.

Otherwise, you can wait to have your vouchers posted to you from Tesco, which happens every quarter.
This means you could purchase a £15 pizza, for example, and get it for £7.50 under Eat Out to Help Out. And then you can use £7.50 in Clubcard reward vouchers to pay for it, meaning it's effectively free.
If you want to use your Clubcard vouchers at the same time as the Eat Out to Help Out discount, just make sure you show the vouchers before you ask for the bill.
Your server will then add the Eat Out to Help Out discount on top of your bill.
Just bear in mind Tesco Clubcard voucher codes can't be used with any other voucher or discount, apart from the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, and can't be used to buy merchandise, gift cards, or left as a tip.
How to calculate the bill
THE government will pay for half of your bill, up to £10 a head, when you eat out on certain days of the week in August.
To work out how much your bill will be after the discount is applied, you should start by adding together everything that you ordered.
You'll then need to take off any items that it doesn't cover, such as alcoholic drinks and the service charge.
Then, divide this by two to find out half of the bill.
What if it comes to more than £10 per head?
To check that it comes under the £10 per head cap, divide it again by the number of people who are dining.
If it works out as more than this per person, then you'll need to multiply the number of people eating by £10.
You should then minus the answer from the total cost of the items that the discount can be applied to.
For example, four people eat out and the total bill that the discount can be applied to comes to £90.
Half of the bill would be £45, but that's more than the limit.
So you need to minus £40 (£10 per diner) from £90 to get the amount you will need to pay, which in this case is £50.
There's also a maximum of eight guests per table when using Clubcard vouchers.
Each restaurant has slightly different terms and conditions for the scheme, before setting off.
The Eat Out to Help Out drive has been introduced to help kickstart the economy after the coronavirus lockdown and will run until August 31.
