EE down updates — Mobile network suffers major outage today as hundreds of customers unable to make or receive calls

- When did EE go down?

HUNDREDS of EE customers have been left furious today after the mobile network suffered a major outage.

According to DownDetector, over 600 users have reported issues with the service.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user said: "EE is the network down? Me and my daughter both can’t make or receive calls. But data is fine."

The Sun has contacted EE for comment.

    Problems with the mobile network provider remain low following the significant issues earlier today, which peaked at over 1,000 reports on DownDetector around midday.

    An hour ago there were 44 problems with EE reported on DownDetector.

    There are currently 31.

    A second wrote: “@EE is the network down? Me and my daughter both can’t make or receive calls. But data is fine.”

    Issues with the mobile network provider remain low following the significant problems earlier today, which peaked at over 1,000 reports on DownDetector around midday.

    Just after 1pm there were 165 reported problems with EE.

    There are 44 at the moment.

    Over half of the customers reporting issues say they had issues with their mobile phone service.

    While 30% said they had no signal and a smaller percentage reported having no internet.

    EE last saw issues with its service in September when customers were unable to use the internet.
