Big discounter set to launch Shark cordless vacuum dupe for 70% less than the real thing

A BUDGET supermarket is gearing up to launch a sleek new handheld vacuum — and it’ll save shoppers a small fortune.
Lidl will be flogging the Beldray REVO Cordless Hand-Held Vacuum Cleaner for just £39.99 from Sunday, April 27 as part of its middle aisle range.

The lightweight gadget is being tipped as a dupe for the Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum, which usually retails for £129.99 — making Lidl’s version around 70% cheaper.
Even on sale, the Shark version is currently £89.99, meaning you’d still save a hefty £50 by opting for the Lidl alternative.
Ideal for quick clean-ups, the Beldray vacuum weighs just 650g, has dual speed settings, and includes a HEPA filter that’s great for allergy sufferers.
It also comes with a charging base, upholstery tool, and crevice brush, plus a 100ml dust container that’s easy to empty.

Shoppers will get up to 30 minutes of cleaning time on a full charge, and it takes just 4 to 5 hours to power up.
It’s a great shout for anyone after a compact cleaner that doesn’t compromise on power – and perfect for smaller spaces or car interiors.
Other cordless vacs on the market include the Lakeland Cordless Handheld Vacuum, currently reduced to £69.99 from £79.99, and the Black + Decker Slim DustBuster, now £69.99 (down from £90) — but Lidl still undercuts both by at least £30.
All of these items are in stores now as part of the Middle of Lidl range – so don’t hang about if you’ve got your eye on something.

Shoppers reckon it’s a bargain alternative to a KitchenAid, which is currently selling for a whopping £381.65 on the brand’s own website.
Last month, budget-conscious shoppers were flocking to The Range to snap up the Cream Boucle Effect Table Lamp priced £60 cheaper than a posh version.
The Oliver Bonas offers the Alma White Bouclé Desk and Table Light at £78, features a similar boucle design but at a significantly higher price point.
Elsewhere, Ali was selling the FERREX Small Pressure Washer for just £39.99, a whopping £80 less than Karcher.
Remember to compare prices
It is important to remember to always shop around when buying something like this as you might find a cheaper alternative.
Websites like Trolley and Price Spy let you compare thousands of products across different retailers to find the best price.
Price Spy even lets you see how much an item has cost over time, so you can see if the current price is a good deal.
A quick scan on the Google Shopping/Product tab will also bring up how much retailers are selling a certain item for.

Elsewhere, B&M released a number of garden furniture, this included a Sienna double egg chair which retails for £250.
Recently, Argos slashed its prices on a massive range of outdoor and DIY essentials, with discounts of up to £60.
A month ago, Wilko knocked down prices on patio sets, lounge chairs, and bistro sets.
In February, Dunelm had a huge clearance sale with discounts of up to 75% on hundreds of items.
How can I save money when shopping at Lidl?
Lidl reduces items at the start of the day, and the best deals can be found between 7am and 8am, when most stores open.
Shoppers can often find cooked meats, salmon fillets and breads reduced by 30% or more.
Not only does Lidl have its own range of reasonably priced alcohol, it also has its own knock-offs of branded favourites – so say cheers to its bargain booze.
