A STAR Wars fanatic is selling the £2million toy collection he has amassed over 33 years.

Jeff Jacob has collected nearly every figurine, spaceship, vehicle and set from the film franchise.

Most of the items in the toy collection are in their original boxes and in mint condition.

It includes a 1978 Darth Vader figure with an opening bid of £20,000.

Jeff, of Denver, Colorado, is also selling a 1978 Millennium Falcon spaceship, set to make £15,000.

He sold more than 300 figures for £1.2million in January, with the remaining 500 expected to go for at least £750,000 at Hake’s Auctions in Pennsylvania tomorrow.

Jeff said: "When I decided to start collecting vintage, I wanted one of each character.

"Once I got every variant that I could possibly think of, I went on to the package stuff.

"I would love to see my collection get passed through the whole world to different people."

Kelly McClain at Hake’s said: "This is the most significant and important Star Wars and action figure collection to come to auction.

"Jeff has been collecting for 33 years and was able to get the best of the best."
