Domino’s aiming to grab a 60 per cent market slice with the help of a fleet of electric delivery bikes
Boss David Wild, editing Sun City for the day, says it already has a 46 per cent share but believes it could hit 60 per cent

DOMINO’S takeaway pizzas is hoping to dominate the market with the help of a fleet of electric bikes.
Boss David Wild, editing Sun City for the day, says it already has a 46 per cent share but believes it could hit 60 per cent.
The pizza firm opened its 1,000th store this week but Mr Wild revealed it is struggling to find enough drivers to dispatch its Pepperoni Passions.
The electric pushbikes, which you do not need a licence to ride, open up a bigger pool for recruiting.
Domino’s is the first takeaway firm to design its own branded electric bike fleet, taking on staff from age 17.
The bikes can motor along at 15mph and Domino’s is currently trying out 24 in 17 stores.
