With fitness smart watches setting you back £100 and gym memberships taking a hefty chunk from your pay packet every month, it's no cheap feat getting fit.

Fitness watches help you to increase your levels of exercise by tracking how active you are.
Typically, the watches sync up to an app on your phone to help monitor your movement, calorie intake and heart rate - along with other useful features depending on what one you buy.
There are plenty available on the market where prices range from anything like £25 to £400.
Fitbit is one of the leading brands because they encourage you to rack up 10,000 steps a day. The Fitbit Charge 2 is a middle of the range but with a £119.99 price tag it's not the cheapest out there.

For years now the NutriBullet has been our best friend in January, blending fruit, vegetables and nuts into a healthy-living smoothie.
But the branded version will set you back £60. But you can pick up a similar one for half the price from Lidl.

Charity Citizens Advice has helped people with nearly 3,500 problems around gyms, health clubs and fitness studios over the past year.
Kate Hobson, from the charity said: "It’s really important to do your homework before you sign up to any gym, health club or fitness studio.
"Make sure you know how long you’re committing for, how much it will cost you, and think about how often you’ll need to use it for it to make sense on your budget."

DON’T be fooled by a price just because it's on offer as they're not always the best value for money.
Tesco Healthy Living range - While the supermarket has dropped the price of ready meals in their slimming range from £3 a meal to £2.50, they're not the cheapest on offer. Weight Watchers meals are currently on offer for £1.75 at Asda.
Fitbit Charge 2, £89.99 from PC World - While it is the best price available for this watch, there are other fitness watches that do similar things for a cheaper price.
