From stamps to children’s shoes, our readers share first-class savings on your weekly shopping — plus Hols From £15 are back

EVERY Saturday Sun Savers club brings you the savviest saving tips around from our army of readers.
Each tip we print earns extra cash — so for your chance to make some money, join Sun Savers today.
Signing up is free and we will pay you a fiver each month just for reading your favourite paper and collecting the unique codes.
Here are this week’s readers top tips.
- Paul Collier, from Aberdeen: “Save money buying stamps in bulk from Dauwalders. You can snap up 100 mixed first class stamps for £56, a saving of £11 — or 11p per stamp. See .
- Tracey Turner, from Nuneaton, Warks: “Stretch out your child’s shoes to the end of the summer term. Use black nail varnish to cover scuff marks as it won’t fade like marker pen and it is waterproof.”
- Kim Nisbet, from Glasgow: “Are your Easter flowers wilting already? Make them last longer by piercing the stem right through to the flower head. It also helps droopy flowers such as tulips stand straighter.”
- Halina Begum, from Forest Gate, East London: “I work in a busy food hall and like to get discount grub. Always look in the chilled section first as items are reduced there before anywhere else.”
- Marion Wright, from Birmingham: “Going on a Sun Holiday or self-catering break this summer? Start buying one item a week now with your weekly shop so you have all you need. That will mean there won’t be a big spend the week before that leaves you short of cash for your getaway.”
- Ros Bell, from Trowbridge, Wilts: “On the day before you do your weekly shop, clear out your fridge and cupboards and batch cook soup or other meals using up your old ingredients. It clears space and you won’t waste a penny on food.”

'We can't wait for our next great break'
WATER baby Lucas Redington made a real splash on his very first Sun Holiday.
The ten-month-old lad couldn’t have been happier as he played in the pool on his family’s first value-for-money break with their favourite newspaper.
Dad Jonathan, 20, a warehouseman from Southampton, said Lucas loved his time in the water so much they took him every day.
He said: “It was great to see him so happy. It was one of the magical memories we’ll keep from this holiday.
“We had such a fantastic time. We weren’t breaking the bank so were able to relax and make the most of our stay.”
And mum Heather, 18, agreed, saying the trip to Haven Church Farm in Pagham, West Sussex, turned out brilliantly.
Jonathan’s gran, Alicia, 60, was also delighted to join them.
Jonathan said: “There are so many parks on offer. Maybe as Lucas gets older we’ll venture further afield. It’s a great way of exploring different parts of the UK.
Heather added: “We can’t wait to organise our next break. Lucas has his water wings and we are looking forward to making an even bigger splash on another Sun Holiday.”

'Jacob's face lit up seeing Shrek... it made my day'
ALEX Altria, 27, a CCTV operator from St Albans, Herts, was thrilled when his four-year-old son, Jacob, got to meet his hero, Shrek.
He took him to Shrek’s Adventure with his fiancée, Laura Dayman, 23.
Alex says: “We went to Shrek’s Adventure last year and had a great day. It was brilliant to enjoy some time together. We don’t live that far away from London, so it was just a train ride away.
“We really made a day of it and went out to lunch and enjoyed some sights. But the real highlight of the day was when Jacob met Shrek. He loves anything to do with Shrek and has seen all the films, so watching his face light up when he got to meet his hero made my day.
“This was our first time using Sun Superdays but it certainly won’t be the last.
“It was a great day out and was so affordable. Laura and I are getting married in June next year, so we’re really focused on saving the pennies right now.
“We were able to have a family day out and not break the bank, which was great. We’ll definitely be collecting the next set of codes.”
