Papa John's has given their tasty garlic cheese sticks a seriously spooky make-over - by covering them in a dark black topping.

Papa John’s has given its popular garlic cheese sticks a makeover with a topping of Ilchester Black Cheddar Total Eclipse cheese.

It basically looks like burnt garlic bread - but we've been told its delicious.

What they've done is cover the garlic bread sticks with gooey drizzling cheese that has a malty flavour - and it's just to celebrate Halloween.

They are Spooky Sticks and cost £3.99 and are available until the 4th November.

But don't panic because you can still order the classic garlic bread sticks.

If black cheese doesn’t tickle your taste buds, you might fancy the pizza giant’s new Toffee Apple Sticks; dough covered in toffee and apple sauce, baked and then drizzled more toffee sauce on top.

What’s more, Papa John’s is also running a deal where customers can save 40 per cent when you spend £40 or more on any item at any of their 400 locations.

In the past we revealed how ordering a small pizza can cost you THREE times as much as a large.

Earlier this year, Papa John's gave away 400,000 free slices of pizza.
