COSTA Coffee fans can now still their caffeine cravings from home as the chain starts trialling a delivery service with Deliveroo.

The service will allow customers to order a range of coffees as well as sweet treats, but it's so far only available in six London areas.

Customers can browse and order Costa items on the Deliveroo website or app, but it comes with a £2.50 delivery charge for each order.

The service will initially be available in six central London stores - Moorgate Pronto, Shepherd’s Bush, Rathbone Place, Bethnal Green Road, Essex Road and Tooley Street.

The trial period is expected to run for four months, but a spokesperson for Costa told The Sun it plans to extend this if the trial's successful.

The news follows last year's launch of click and collect coffees at Costa, which means you can beat the queue.

Arslan Sharif, global digital & loyalty director at Costa Coffee, said: "We know our customers are looking for convenient ways to enjoy great coffee and we wanted to explore how we could satisfy their need for speed and convenience.
