Treat your family to a cinema trip for less — plus win £50k in The Sun Raffle

FANCY taking the family to see a film this weekend?
With the average cinema ticket costing £7.22, that means a grand total of almost £30 for four of you. But I’m on a mission to cut that cost.
Here’s how you can be a screen saver . . .
- IT PAYS TO BE A SAVER: We are excited to be celebrating Sun Savers reaching one million members — so we’re giving away free Odeon cinema tickets.
There are loads up for grabs, and getting your hands on them couldn’t be any easier. See Page 16 for details. - TESCO GIFT CARD OFFER: It is Father’s Day tomorrow, and to celebrate, Tesco is offering customers a discount on a range of gift cards today and tomorrow — including 20 per cent off £25 Vue gift cards (Vue offer not valid in Northern Ireland).
SAVING: £5 on £25 gift card - PICK AND MIX: Create your own pick- and-mix bags for your kids and make a massive saving on forking out in the foyer, where prices are often hiked up to around £1.50 per 100g for the convenience of being at the cinema.
Asda has large 160g bags of sweet- shop favourites from just 50p (around 30p per 100g).
Buy an assortment for a few pounds then split them into resealable sandwich bags for the kids.
SAVING: Approx £1.20 per 100g - GOOD POINT: Do you collect Nectar points? You could use them towards your cinema trip to save you pounds. Every 500 points is worth £2.50 towards your tickets at Vue cinemas.
SAVING: At least £2.50, depending on points - WISE POLICY: If you sign up for insurance with Compare The Market, its Meerkat Movies offer allows you to see films on Tuesdays or Wednesdays on a 2-for-1 deal — saving you that average ticket price of £7.22.
You can also get deals to eat at loads of top restaurants, including Ed’s Easy Diner, Prezzo and more.
SAVE: At least £7.22
