MORE drivers are getting fleeced by Sadiq Khan's hated Ultra Low Emission Zone from today.
His Tory rival Susan Hall branded the ULEZ expansion "a dark day for drivers" - and told voters to end the tax raid by booting him out.
The £12.50 daily charge was extended to all London boroughs at a minute past midnight on the orders of the Labour mayor.
Some car owners on shop and school runs facing the fees today gave Mr Khan both barrels as the expansion kicked in.
Ms Hall said: “This is a dark day for drivers. This is going to be a disaster for families, small businesses and charities.
"It is nothing but a tax grab which will have only a negligible effect on air quality.”

Tens of thousands have backed our Give Us A Brake campaign to stop drivers being stung by politicians’ green policies.
And a tribunal has overturned Ulez fines against scaffolder Noel Willcox, 48, after he argued they did not make the charges clear.
But last night the Mayor released a 3,600-word defence of his “difficult but necessary decision” to expand the Ulez catchment.
He said: “I am not prepared to stand idly by when we have the ability to save lives and tackle the climate crisis.”

Transport Secretary Mark Harper said: “Sadiq Khan’s decision to expand the ULEZ, backed by Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer, is the latest salvo in Labour’s war on motorists.
“The realities of Labour politicians in positions of power are ideological policies that hit hardworking motorists hard.”
FairFuel UK's Howard Cox accused Mr Khan of punishing drivers to pursue his “misinformed green pipedream”.
He said: “Probably one of the most detested policies ever to hit drivers is now in operation.”
John O’Connell of the Taxpayers Alliance added: “The expansion of ULEZ is bad news for motorists in London and beyond.
“As hard-pressed drivers face coughing up for yet another levy, motorists elsewhere fear that similar schemes will spread to their areas.”
