We review the Jeep Renegade from price to economy and all its features
Yep, up there, but stop at the cliff edge!

ONE might question why Jeep opened a pop-up dealership on a cliff edge overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay.
Passing trade was always going to be restricted to a few sheep, some boats and possibly a few ramblers.
Unless you had a proper 4x4 to get there.
But that was the point.
Your average 4x2 SUV would have taken one look, cried and run home
The route up was rutted, rock-strewn and caked in mud. It was proper Jodie Harsh. Your average 4x2 SUV would have taken one look, cried and run home. What you needed was a mini tank.
Something like the Jeep Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition, seen here in “Jungle Green”.

Now that clawed its way to the top like a cat thanks to its all-speed traction control, low range 4WD, and hill descent control. It clearly loves off-road hiking.
My reward for reaching the summit was a cup of Yorkshire tea, malted milk biscuits and a cracking view. But it must be said, this baby Jeep is just as happy on the smooth stuff and has the same 2-litre turbo diesel as the Fiat 500X.

More Motors
It also rocks inside, mixing modern connected tech with old-school touches like cargo nets and “oh s***” grab handles.
Prices from £17,495 for the 2WD soft road Renegade. But you’ll be wanting the tidy 75th Anniversary edition at £27,495 – or £175 a month with 0% APR and a £10,000 trade-in.
VERDICT: It’s ready when you are.
Hang on: Isn't that the Grand Tour tent?
