‘Plenty of room,’ driver says after uncovering hidden backseat button that moves seats automatically with just a touch

A FORD expert has revealed two key features in a 2024 Ford Explorer ST that set it apart from the competition.

They're both handy features that are perfect for drivers with a family.

RJ, a Ford expert who uses his YouTube channel (@) to publish tips on new Ford models, uploaded a recent that exposes two features on the 2024 Ford Explorer ST that dramatically increase space and comfort.

"Afternoon everybody, RJ here at the back of the 2024 Explorer ST," he said, opening the video.

"My favorite feature is going to be the rear folding seats."

He reached into the very back of the SUV and pushed an easily accessible button.

After pushing the button, the back seat folded perfectly flat to make room for whatever the driver needed to load into the back.

"That way, if you're loading luggage into the back of this thing, it's automatic," he said.

"Just press a button, wait a second, and it's going to fold down for you and give you all that space to load up whatever you need to in the back."

After a moment, RJ revealed his second favorite feature in the new Ford.

This time, however, the feature was for those riding in the second row of passenger seats.

"My second favorite feature is going to be the sun shades that you get on the side [windows]," he said, pulling up a built-in sun shade that clips onto the window frame.

"Just like that - so you can protect your kids from the sunlight."

RJ's viewers, though, were quick to point out that these features weren't entirely "new" to the industry.

"My 2009 Audi has this," wrote a viewer.

Another commenter mentioned another luxurious German company that has had those features for a while.

"Mercedes have been at this for 15 years now," they wrote.

A Hyundai owner also mentioned that their vehicle had identical features.
