King Charles’ Land Rover with Royal HRH number plate and luxury heated seats bought at auction for WAY over asking price

A LAND Rover owned and driven by King Charles has been snapped up at auction for £67,500.
This Defender 90 has been sold for just over £17,000 over the asking price.
It was originally estimated to fetch £50,000.
Used by the King during his time as the Duke of Cornwall, the vehicle is also kitted out with some unique modifications.
The is equipped with heated seats that were added especially for him.
The Land Rover was supplied new to King Charles for him and Queen Camilla to use.

The exterior is finished in a regal Keswick Green with a Charcoal Grey interior.
There is minor wear on the driver's seat indicating it was not chauffeur driven, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
It was delivered to Highgrove House in November 2010.
At the time of purchase the vehicle had just 24,595 miles on the clock.

A private collector sold the motor in partnership with Iconic Auctioneers.
Iconic Auctioneers stated: “Supplied by JLR Special Vehicles for the sole use of The Prince of Wales and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall (at the time).
“It has more recently formed part of a small but dedicated Royal Collection, dutifully cared for by its fastidious owner.”
