Crazy Renault concept car doubles up as an extra ROOM in your house – and could be on the road by 2030
Renault Symbioz predicts connected future where your car will be an extra room in your home with comfy armchairs - and it'll park itself on the roof terrace
THIS wacky vision of life in 2030 might just change your definiton of "motorhome".
In a little over a decade our cars will be part of our house - if you believe this Renault Symbioz creation.

The concept, revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is a driverless car that doubles up as an extra room in your house - think cosy snug where you can hang out with pals.
And there's even a "French Kiss" seating layout that pushes seats together and positions them at a handy angle for getting a little more "comfortable".
Love Island's Hideaway hasn't got a thing on the Renault Symbioz...
You'll be able to access social media, music and your personal files from the comfort of the Symbioz - and it'll automatically recognise who you are and "log you in".
And the cabin has been designed to feel as much like home as possible with lightweight marble and wood.
The seats are upholstered in sofa fabric and convert into full armchairs when you're not driving.

Ambient noises, fragrances and atmospheric lighting can also be pumped into the cabin to keep you relaxed.
Of course, this car won't work with your standard terrace house so Renault has gone to the trouble of designing your home of the future, too.
Complete with rotating lift platform to take your car up to its rooftop parking space.
The off-the-wall idea features a rooftop terrace for the car to park - and it'll drive itself down in the elevator when it's time to leave.

Sensors and cameras make sure it can make it out without bumping into your newly-fitted kitchen.
Wifi means you can connect with your TV, fridge, alarm and heating wherever you are - and a 360-degree camera allows you to ensure your home is safe and sound.

In fact, it'll be linked to your house so much that the Symbioz will actually share electric power with your home and only charge up when you've got a long-distance journey in the diary.
And if you live in an area susceptible to black-outs you'll be able to temporarily draw power from the car to light your home. Watch out candles your race is run.

Should you be going on holiday, the car will even lock up your home and power down the heating for you on its way out.
On the road, there's an 80cm curved hi-definition dash, retractable steering wheel and pedals, wrist-watch touchscreens on seatbelts to control systems like air con and a mini table.
You can even select a "zero-gravity" seating position where you can pop on a virtual reality headset during a journey to take the pain of your concrete jungle commute away.
The car itself is the size of a BMW 3 Series but looks more conservatory than car with huge glass panels across the doors and roof.

The doors are rear-hinged for maximum access plus the roof panels open up like a butterfly.
And of course, the Symbioz is completely zero emissions with a 500km (310 mile) all-electric range.
