Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar turns into 225mph track-only AMR Pro race car designed by F1 legend
This is the ultimate Aston Martin with staggering speed and jaw-dropping looks. The British beast is a track superstar penned by F1 designer Adrian Newey

THIS is the ultimate Aston Martin that even James Bond wouldn't be allowed to drive.
The stunning Valkyrie hypercar has been given a sensational 225mph race car makeover.
And while the AMR Pro has the licence to thrill, 007 won't be chasing down villains in it anytime soon as it's strictly track-only.
And even then Bond probably couldn't get his hands on one as just 25 are being built - and they're sold out already.
Due to arrive on the driveway of lucky owners in 2020, the AMR Pro has been designed to have the performance to match a F1 or Le Mans car.
To do that it's got a huge 6.5-litre V12 engine pumping out 1,100bhp - more than ten times that of a regular Ford Fiesta.
And because it weighs less than 1,000kg it'll hit a mind-boggling 225mph if you've got a big enough set.
Expect acceleration in a straight line to 60mph to be knocked off in under three seconds while lateral acceleration hits 3G so you'll want to wear a helmet to keep your eyes, ears and mouth in one place.
It's been given wider bodywork and larger front and rear wings to improve downforce on track compared to the road-legal hypercar.
The heater, de-mister and infotainment system that sit in the "regular" £3million Valkyrie have been stripped out, too, to slash weight.
The new racer is penned by legendary designer and Red Bull supremo Adrian Newey alongside Aston's master designer Marek Reichman.
Newey said: "The Aston Martin Valkyrie road car draws extensively from the knowledge I have gained during my career in Formula One, but the AMR Pro version has allowed me to work beyond the constraints of road legality, or indeed practicality.

"We’ve told a few of its secrets, but by no means all. I will leave it to the public to ponder the lap time predictions. Suffice to say they’re quite impressive."
The standard Valkyrie, which costs £3million, is also already sold out.
Deliveries for the road-going hypercar are expected in 2019.
