Katie Piper’s acid attacker is back in jail after police nicked him over a string of car thefts

KATIE Piper’s acid attacker is back in jail after police nicked him over a string of car thefts.
Thug Stefan Sylvestre, 31, was recalled to prison on Thursday — just 13 months after he was released for the horrific assault on the former Strictly star.
Police are understood to have arrested him on suspicion of 16 offences of taking vehicles without consent.
He was also held on suspicion of making threats of violence.
The offences are not believed to be linked to Katie, 36.
A source said: “Sylvestre will now be held while any new criminal case against him develops. It’s a bitter blow for him so soon after his release.”
Sylvestre was freed in October last year after serving just nine years of his indeterminate life term.
He had been jailed in 2009 for hurling sulphuric acid in Katie’s face on the orders of her obsessive ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch.
Katie was scarred for life and left blind in one eye.

Under terms of his licence, Sylvestre was banned from contacting her and barred from a zone around her address.
He married single mum Danielle Burke in an Islamic ceremony while banged up at Highpoint jail in Suffolk.
Even if he is not convicted of any new offences, he will face a Parole Board again to rule on his fitness for release.
