Mum, 30, fighting for life after being stabbed repeatedly in 4am knife attack at home as her daughter, 6, slept

A MUM is fighting for life after being stabbed in a frenzied 4am attack at her home.

Nadine Lott, 30, was beaten and knifed at her apartment in Arklow, Co Wicklow, Ireland in the early hours of the Saturday morning.

The knifeman fled the scene and crashed his car nearby.

A man in his 30s and known to her was arrested over the attack.

Nadine had hoped to take her daughter to Disneyland Paris over Christmas.

Dozens of the young mum's friends have now offered their prayers to the mum with a touching candle tribute on social media.

'WE ARE ALL PRAYING'

One friend wrote: "Praying for Nadine."

Another pal added: "Absolutely heartbreaking, keep fighting Nadine, everyone is praying for you and your family."

One person said: "We are all praying."

And another added: "This is the most horrific thing. Praying for you Nadine and all your loved ones."

Health Minister Simon Harris last night described the attack as “horrific” and told how he is praying for the woman’s recovery.

In a post on social media, the Wicklow TD said: “So horrific. I know I speak for our entire community when I say our thoughts are with this woman as we all hope and pray for her recovery.”
