‘Britain’s worst mum’ Karen Matthews seen with paedo fiancé for first time since cops called to bust up at their home
BRITAIN'S worst mum Karen Matthews has been seen with her paedo fiancé for the first time since cops swooped on their home following a bust up.
The vile couple were spotted running errands at a hardware shop and tucking into a fish and chip shop lunch in a white van.
And they appeared to have made up after a string of explosive rows - with Paul Saunders, 57, buying Matthews, 44, a pair of flash new trainers.
Convicted paedophile Saunders, who was jailed for five years for abusing a child, had picked Matthews up in a van on Saturday before they headed to a supermarket.
They spent the afternoon shopping at a string of stores - with Matthews hiding behind a scarf and woolly hat.

The Sun revealed officers spoke to the couple but made no arrests before leaving.
Matthews and her lover are said to have had a series of nasty rows recently, with the kidnap mum threatening to call cops herself.
A source said: “Matthews and Saunders had just come in not so long ago from shopping with loads of bags when police knocked on her door.

“The cops asked a few neighbours if they’ve heard any shouting or noises but then were quickly on their way.
"They have had reports of some kind of disturbance.”
Matthews, jailed for eight years in 2009 for faking the kidnap of daughter Shannon, is madly in love with Saunders.
They met when he was doing repair works round her flat, which she moved to at the expense of the taxpayer.

Saunders is on the sex offenders’ register after he admitted engaging in sexual activity with a teenager, making indecent images of her and two counts of sexual assault in 2010.
Following the story, Saunders was arrested on suspicion of failing to notify authorities of his circumstances.
He was released under investigation.
