Another Cabinet minister in coronavirus isolation as Scottish Secretary Alister Jack develops symptoms of killer bug

ANOTHER cabinet minister is in isolation after developing coronavirus symptoms.
Scottish Secretary Alister Jack developed a cough and mild temperature just one day after Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Health Minister Matt Hancock tested positive for the deadly bug.

Mr Jack was sat alongside the PM in the Commons before Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday.
The Tory MP for Dumfries and Galloway said: “In the past 24 hours, I have developed mild symptoms associated with coronavirus.
"In line with medical guidance, I am self-isolating and working from home.”

Yesterday, Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock both revealed they had tested positive for Covid-19.
The PM said in a video: "I have developed minor symptoms of the coronavirus, a temperature and a persistent cough and on the advice of the chief medical officer I have taken a test. That has come out positive.
"I am working from home, I am self-isolating, and that is entirely the right thing to do."
Mr Hancock, soon followed, adding:

"I‘ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating."
Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said he too would self isolate as a precaution, after developing mild symptoms.
