Nurse, 53, dies from coronavirus after urging Facebook friends to wash hands and stay home

A NURSE has died from coronavirus just weeks after he urged people on Facebook to wash their hands and stay at home.
The tragic news comes as the number of NHS workers killed by Covid-19 has reached 104 — a rise of 61 in a week.

Dad Larni Zuniga, 53, who worked at CHD Living’s Surrey Hills care home near his home at Godalming in Surrey, died on Friday at St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
The medic, originally from the Philippines, was granted British citizenship in February. He had battled the infection for two weeks.
'I CAN'T STOP CRYING'
His devastated daughter Mutya said: “I can’t stop crying. It’s too painful to bear, you are the best dad.”
Ward manager Andy Costa, 58, who devoted 26 years of his life to the NHS, died on Friday.
His bosses at Highgate Mental Health Centre in North London hailed his “diligence and loyalty”.
Jenny Esson, 45, was a trainer and development co-ordinator at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust’s Recovery College — a mental health facility.
