‘This person does not live on planet Jedward’: Pop twins shocked by fan who has been jailed for sex with boys
Brothers say paedophile has nothing to do with them or fans and find it 'upsetting' that she is linking herself to their other fans
JEDWARD have spoken of their shock after a woman who claimed to be a devoted fan was jailed for bedding two schoolboys.
Kirstin MacRuary from Scotland - who told friends she craved after John and Edward as well as underage boys and wanted "some Jedcest now" - was jailed for two years yesterday and placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for 10 years.
Speaking exclusively to the Sun, Jedward said: "We have never met or known of this individual that the papers are claiming to be a super fan!
"In the seven years of meeting fans and seeing how supportive our fans are this person does not live on planetjedward and has nothing to do with our world!
"Our fans are the most loyal and positive people in the world and our fans being linked to this upsetting story is uncalled for!"
Remorseless paedophile Kirstin MacRuary, who told friends on Facebook she craved “some Jedcest now”, admitted bedding two lads - who can’t be named for legal reasons - after inviting them to her home in Dundonald, Belfast, to use the internet, watch films and drink booze.
Jailing her, Sheriff John Montgomery blasted MacRuary - who he said had shown no remorse.
He said: “I’ve read the social work report - it’s an astonishing report in many ways because you don’t express any remorse.
“There is, in my view, no alternative to a custodial sentence.”
The 39-year-old seduced her first victim between October and November 2013 as he sat on her couch.
And between December 2013 and January 2014 she seduced her second victim, who was in her house watching a movie.
Paedo MacRuary suggested he go upstairs for a sleep - before following him up to the spare bedroom and having sex with him.
But during their romp the boy became worried and pushed MacRuary off and fled her home.
Cops were informed and she was arrested.
