She took to Twitter to message friends about her hospital visit but died two days later.

The 16-year-old tweeted twice last Wednesday and wrote: "Did not expect I'd be rushed to hospital in an ambulance, how peak."

She also retweeted a friend's post, which read: "I have such a bad headache but I need to revise."
Izzy died on Friday, 20 May.

Since her death tributes have poured in for the year 12 student at Bristol's St Brendan's Sixth Form College.

Many described her as a good friend, who was "gorgeous" and "bubbly", with "amazing energy".

Isabel's step sister wrote on Facebook on Saturday: "I am very hesitant to post this, but feel this is the easiest way to tell my family and friends at the same time.

"Yesterday my beautiful step sister Izzy Gentry passed away.

"My heart is broken knowing we will not be able to do so many of the things we have always talked about.

"We were both the sisters neither of us ever had and you will forever be by my side for the rest of my life. Rest in paradise, my little best friend."

Her close friend Eryn O'Connell also paid tribute writing: "Life's taken from us so fast and so harshly, you were without a doubt one of the most bubbly souls going with an amazing energy, always.

“You brought so much life to us all and it will never be the same without you Izzy Gentry."

Her death is so far unexplained but reports suggest it could be deadly bug meningitis.

A group of Izzy's friends are planning a fundraising bike ride for Meningitis Now in August.

Avon Coroner's Court said the inquest into Ms Gentry's death is set to be opened next week.
