Pub gets trolled for ‘country’s worst beer garden’ as punters sit in a CAR PARK

A SCOTTISH pub has been trolled for having the country’s worst beer garden after seating punters in a CAR PARK.
The Brass Button in Motherwell was mocked on social media with one drinker suggesting the boozer should be renamed “The Brass Neck”.
People poked fun at the pub’s garden after a customer’s picture showed tatty table and chairs dumped behind a chained traffic cordon in a forecourt.
Sharing the snap on social media, Craig Campbell said: "Nice beer garden in Motherwell if anyone fancies a pint."
Another tweeter joked: “I call that a solid piece of entrepreneurial art.”
One man wrote “The Button defo[sic] wins the best beer garden award”, with three laughing cry emojis.

Instead of patio furniture, mowed lawns and flower beds – punters at the Brass Button can feast their eyes on graffiti daubed over a nearby wall and a wheelie bin.
Other visual delights include an extractor vent from a nearby building and a grey shutter door – not to mention cars parking up.
However, not everyone is bothered by the surroundings and locals are still enjoying the opportunity to taste a socially distanced pint after a long coronavirus lockdown.

"Everyone from the staff down to punters love the Brass Button and long may our wee pub stay that way."
Another drinker tweeted: “Had a couple jars in it today with the lads, love the beer.”
