Boy, 13, stabbed in park as cops hunt attacker who fled scene

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been stabbed in a park in Hertfordshire.
Police are hunting the attacker who fled Barclay Park in Hoddesdon after the teen was knifed in broad daylight.
Police say the young boy was rushed to hospital where he is being treated for a suspected knife injury.
They believe the suspect was known to the victim.
Witnesses in the park at the time were "shocked" by the attack.
One woman, known only as Jasmine, told : "We are here with my family today, my nieces and son, and to hear that someone was stabbed just the other side of the park is scary."
And Helen and Steve, who were out for a walk, said: "It is really shocking that these things just happen so casually now."
They described seeing several police cars and ambulances in the area.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called following an incident in Barclay Park, Hoddesdon, at around 1.40pm today (Friday 24 July).
"Officers attended and discovered a 13-year-old boy had sustained an injury, suspected to be a knife wound.
"The ambulance service also attended and the boy was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting ISR 414 of today."
