Where was Boris Johnson holidaying and why was his trip cut short?

BORIS Johnson had been on holiday in Scotland but had to cut his family break short over "security concerns".
The PM had been taking a well-earned break after leading Britain through the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Here's everything you need to know.
Where was Boris Johnson holidaying?
The Prime Minister was spotted holidaying on the Scottish coast, as revealed by The Daily Mail.
It's unclear which town Mr Johnson chose to chill out in, but Scotland has a rugged and beautiful coastline packed with charming getaway spots perfect for staycationing in as coronavirus restrictions ramp up on foreign travel.
The family were reported to be staying mainly at a £1,500-a-week three-bedroom cottage on the Scottish coast.
But they also a few days camping — as The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this month.
Pictures showed a tepee-style tent pitched near the cottage.
However Mr Johnson along with his fiancee Carrie Symonds and their son Wilfred reportedly flew back to London on Thursday after concerns were raised about their safety.
Hours earlier, a newspaper photographer had taken pictures of Mr Johnson outside a former schoolhouse in which the family had been secretly holidaying with their dog, Dilyn.

Yes, Boris is reportedly holidaying with fiancee Carrie and son, Wilfred.
They have also taken their little dog, Dilyn with them.
One local saw Boris and Carrie enjoying a walk with a local guide, his security team and an unknown woman who was walking Dilyn.
A witness said: “It just looked like any other normal family day out.”
When will Boris Johnson return to work?
The Prime Minister is expected to be back next week.
However his exact date of return has yet to be confirmed.
Mr Johnson had tried to keep his trip strictly private.
The Daily Mail newspaper published pictures of him outside the rented holiday home on the remote Applecross peninsula.

Boris Johnson and Carrie brought in the new year in December at a £20,000-a-week, six-bedroom Caribbean villa.
