Who are Joe Biden's children?

Joe Biden had four children total, although only two are alive.

The president had three children - Hunter, Beau, and Naomi - with his first wife, Neilia Hunter.

The couple married in August 1966 and moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where Biden was on the New Castle County Council.

Sadly, Neilia died in a horrific car accident.

Joe eventually remarried Jill Jacobs in 1977 and had one daughter, Ashley, in 1981.

Hunter also previously dated Hallie Biden, the widow of his brother Beau, in 2016.

In December 2023, Hunter was indicted on nine federal tax charges.

The charges involve at least $1.4 million in taxes that Hunter owed between 2016 and 2019, the period during which Hunter has admitted to struggling with addiction.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Hunter was found guilty of three felony gun charges. He was accused of illegally purchasing a gun while abusing drugs. He pleaded not guilty and did not testify in the trial.

The court ruled that the test established Hunter’s paternity with “scientific certainty," determining that Hunter did father the child while he was dating Hallie.

In July 2023, President Biden publically acknowledged Navy as his grandaughter in a statement via .

Biden told the outlet: "Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward.

"This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter. Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy."
