‘Pet’ cake-maker accused of animal cruelty after snap of creation reported on Facebook
Sponges made by mother-of-two can take up to 80 hours to create at up to £2,500 a pop

ANIMAL-shaped sponges created by cake-maker Hannah Edwards are so realistic she has been accused of cruelty.
Hannah, 33, was even reported to Facebook for posting a photo of a sliced-open dog-themed sponge on her page The Cake Illusionist.
The mother of two explained: “I made a husky and someone had a go at me — saying it was encouraging violence.
“You have to cut cake! But it weirds people out.”
