BARACK Obama will hit the campaign trail for his former Vice President Joe Biden as Democrats try to avoid a repeat of the 2016 defeat.
The presidential hopeful confirmed plan when he spoke to reporters near his home in before boarding a flight to on Tuesday.

In a video released on Tuesday, Obama said: "History shows that the easiest way to make sure that you and your friends vote is to make a plan. And when it comes to voting this year, having a plan has never been more important."
The Democratic party are desperate to avoid a repeat of the surprise 2016 election defeat and are pushing for a high turnout on election days to get Biden over the line.
