A GUNMAN is on the run after shooting three people, including a four-year-old child in Florida.

The shooter fled the scene in Altamonte Springs and was chased by police.

Authorities pursued the man for about three miles to an apartment building, according to FOX News.

He stormed gay nightclub Pulse on June 12 and injured 53.
