A KILLER driver who handed himself in after a deadly hit-and-run was caught speeding at more than 140mph just days later.
Farhan Ali fled the scene after mowing down pedestrian Janusz Adam Partyka, 31, in his BMW.
He handed himself in the next day following a police appeal - but just four days after he was charged Ali was caught speeding in excess of 140mph on the M40.
He was sentenced to 12 months in prison for dangerous driving over the speeding offence in March.
Yesterday the maniac driver was jailed for six-and-a-half years for causing death by dangerous driving.
His victim Mr Partyka, a tradesman originally from Poland, lived in Osterley, West London, close to where he was killed on the A4 Great West Road just before 5am on February 8.
Paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were called to the scene but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cops appealed for help tracing a blue BMW last seen speeding away towards Heathrow.

Ali, 30, of Hounslow, was also given a four-year extended sentence and disqualified from driving for ten years with an extended retest by a judge at Isleworth Crown Court.
Detective Sergeant Jeff Edwards, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Ali showed complete disregard for the safety of other road users and his recklessness has caused the death of a much loved man who had everything to live for.
"His excess speeding beggars belief and he rightly deserves a custodial sentence for his crime.
"Our thoughts are with the family of Janusz who have behaved with the utmost dignity throughout this investigation."
