Shocking moment a young dad was stabbed to death outside nightclub after a row about the cloakroom queue

JUNIOR Afolayan attacked Kabba Kamara at an R&B night in the Carvaggio restaurant in the City of London

SHOCKING video footage shows the moment a young dad was stabbed to death by a clubber following a row about queuing for the cloakroom.

Junior Afolayan, 24, is facing a life sentence after attacking Kabba Kamara, 32, at an R&B night at the Carvaggio restaurant on Leadenhall Street in the City of London.

The young dad was stabbed 300 yards away from the building following pushing and shoving in the cloakroom queue.

He was rushed to hospital after the attack but sadly died of multiple organ failure on December 7, 24 hours after the attack.

Kamara, who was born in Sierra Leone, suffered catastrophic blood loss as a result of a puncture wound to the abdomen.

In CCTV footage shown to the court, the victim is jostled by at least two men before a glass he is holding flies into the air.

Witnesses thought they had seen Kabba punched rather than stabbed as the incident escalated so quickly.

Afolayan was convicted of murder by the jury while Olatunde Odunyemi, 25, and his brother Ayodeji Odunyemi, 24, were cleared at the Old Bailey.

Prosecutor Alan Kant said: "These three defendants all attended this event on that night, and of course Mr Kamara attended with his friends - they were celebrating a birthday,' said prosecutor Alan Kent.

"It was December, it was cold and there wasn't any kind orderly queue - the cloakroom was in the area behind the reception desk.

"There was a little bit of pushing and shoving in that queue. It's not clear who started it or indeed why it started."

A witness heard Afolayan say "let's go outside and get the ting" seconds before the attack.

Otalunde and Ayodeji Odunyemi, from Kennington, and Afolayan, from Clapham, all deny murder and an alternative manslaughter charge.

Afolayan said he had attacked the victim with a belt buckle and not a knife but was convicted of murder.

He will be sentenced tomorrow.
