Man dies after being shot in the head and chest in broad daylight on a Dublin street
The shooting is not thought to be connected to the recent gang wars

A MAN has died and a car was found burnt out after a shooting in the centre of Dublin yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened on Bridgefoot Street in the Liberties in Dublin 8 at 4:15pm.
The 53-year-old, who has a number of serious criminal convictions, was blasted up to four times in the head and chest by a lone gunman in the doorway of the Shoestown shop.
The shooting is not believed to be connected to the Kinahan/Hutch gang feud.
This feud, which has intensified since a murder at a hotel in February, has claimed the lives of seven people since September.
Six of those deaths were in the last six months.
In a recent security briefing the Garda said the spate of killings in the Irish capital was being directed from Spain, the Netherlands and the UK.
