Ex-Pirelli model awarded £53m of the £196m divorce payout she was claiming from Saudi ex-husband
Glamorous Christina Estrada, 54, demanded £1 million-per-year for new clothes from her terminally ill former-spouse

A former supermodel has been awarded a £53 million cash settlement in a High Court divorce battle with her Saudi billionaire ex-husband.
Christina Estrada, 54, was fighting for £196 million from businessman Sheikh Walid Juffali, 61, to meet her "reasonable needs".
Her lawyers said the total settlement she is to receive, taking into account her own assets, is in the region of £75 million.
She rejected an offer which, added to her own assets, would have given her some £37 million to live on.
Ms Estrada had claimed that she needed £1 million-a-year for new clothes including £40,000 for fur coats, £109,000 for dresses and £21,000 for shoes.
The former model was cross-examined in court about her pricey requirements.

She told family judge Mrs Justice Roberts: "I am Christina Estrada. I was a top, international model. I have lived this life. This is what I am accustomed to.
"It is difficult to convey the extraordinary level of luxury and opulence we were fortunate enough to enjoy."
Her team of lawyers estimated her ex-husband’s wealth at an extraordinary £8 billion.
But Dr Juffali, who could not attend court because he is terminally ill, said in a written statement that his ex-wife’s estimate of his fortune was grossly exaggerated and is a ‘fantasy figure’.
The wealthy businessman says he is actually worth in the region of £113.8 million.
In his statement he said he is leaving the bulk of his fortune to his three eldest children, including his teenage daughter with Ms Estrada.
Glamorous Estrada, who is a US citizen, has been based in the UK for over 20 years.
She currently lives in a mansion in Windsor estimated to be worth up to £60 million. She also has a flat in London.
The sheikh, who is undergoing treatment in Switzerland, divorced Ms Estrada in Saudi Arabia in 2014 under Islamic law without her knowledge.

Her clothing and jewellery budget stands at more than £1.02 million per annum, including £40,000 for a new fur coat every year, £83,000 for 15 new cocktail dresses every year, £80,000 for a special occasion gown annually, £109,000 for seven haute couture dresses annually, £197,000 on two white jewellery sets and £79,000 on cocktail dress jewellery sets every year.
She also wants £58,000 for two luxury handbags, £23,000 for six casual handbags and £35,000 for ten clutch handbags.
Ms Estrada needs £4,000 for fifteen pairs of sunglasses – every year together with two sets of ski wear, including helmets, each season.
She wants two watches every year for £39,000 each (she already has 43 valuable watches).
She needs three new suitcases each year for a total of £14,850 and five new silk dressing gowns.
Ms Estrada's huge settlement demands were previously slammed in court by Justin Warshaw QC.
He said: “It is extraordinary to suggest £55,000 a year on headdresses is acceptable or that a clothes budget of £155,000 goes up to £2m.
“It is a budget that has one purpose: to push up the amount of money Ms Estrada gets from my client.
"The approach to housing sit hand in hand with the budget.
“All the houses we proposed were some of the finest properties in London.
"We say she does not need a holiday home in England. She can buy one, but she doesn’t need one.”
