Cops called out to youths acting suspiciously at 2am — only to find they were playing Pokemon Go
Police in Bury St Edmunds found the youngsters in a deserted town centre hunting the virtual characters

POLICE called out to youths acting suspiciously at 2am found they were playing Pokemon Go.
The four youngsters were in a deserted town centre hunting virtual characters with their smartphones.
The new game has taken the US, Australia and New Zealand by storm but savvy Brits could also play it ahead of yesterday’s UK launch by altering their mobile settings.
Police in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, tweeted: “Four youths acting suspiciously in the town centre — ended up they were playing Pokemon Go at 2 in the morning.”
Four people were arrested last week for attempted robbery in O’Fallon, Missouri, after luring Pokemon Go gamers to a trap.
Cops in Richmond, South West London, warned: “Be aware of your surroundings.
Pikachu will not expect you to run in the road and Squirtle won’t want you to swim in the Thames.”
Child safety alert 'snub'

THE NSPCC blasted developers for releasing Pokemon Go here before addressing safety fears.
The child protection charity had said this week it was worried paedophiles could lure children with the game.
It said yesterday: “It’s deeply troubling that the app’s owners have ignored well-documented child safety concerns.”
