INSIDE CHINA’S DISMALAND

Tourist’s video lifts the lid on Shanghai’s Disneyland where kids urinate in the street and the crowds are a nightmare come true

Vlogger DisneyDwayne documents his nightmare visit to the theme park that is ruined by rude visitors

THE ugly underbelly of Shanghai DisneyLand has been exposed with rude visitors pushing their way in, abandoning rubbish in queues and even allowing their children to urinate in the gardens.

The shocking behaviour of the fun-loving crowds has been exposed in a video shared by , a self-confessed Disney fan who visited China's newly opened adventure park, marketed as "where dreams come true".

But Dwayne's visit to the theme park in the Pudong district was hampered from the first moment he lined up to buy a ticket, stuck behind a family of 17 who had issues buying tickets into the theme park.

Instead of waiting patiently, he claimed fellow visitors decided to pretend to be a part of the large family group to push in front and get their tickets sooner.

The behaviour of Dwayne's fellow visitors slowly gets worse as he spends more time at the park with the young Disney fan being rammed by trolleys and frequently getting pushed and shoved by fellow tourists.

Speaking to the camera, Dwayne also jokes about the lack of personal space, saying: "I'm in my first line and I have to say, personal space here is absolutely zero."

Footage of the queues show tourists toe to toe with each other as they wait for the ride, pushing up against each other in the hope of getting into the attraction or ride sooner.

Rubbish abandoned in the queue can also be seen in the footage, including empty bottles, food wrappers and plastic wrappers.

In the documented visit, he also captures the moment a family almost ram their trolley into him as they stroll through the park.

Dwayne said the crowds were "horrible", saying it couldn't compare to the behaviour at other parks, particularly the polite crowds in Japan.

But the day slides downhill even more when the video shows a mother helping her young son urinate through a fence into the garden area of Disneyland, which was built for £3.8 billion.

The urine is left all over one of the concrete markers.

Children can be seen playing in areas that are clearly signed no public access while exhausted crowds flock to the interactive castle, Enchanted Storybook Castle, at the park's centre to sit on the ground.

The park, opened in June 2016, has already been damaged by the crowds who have pulled out sockets in attempts to charge their phones.

Other inconsiderate actions include tourists standing in front of one of the Big Hero 6 shows with their umbrellas open.

Dwayne said: "It’s not hot and it’s not raining, so why are people using umbrellas to block the view."

The rude behaviour of Disneyland visitors is despite Shanghai's municipal government issuing an etiquette guide for those intending on visiting the newly-opened theme park.

The six rules include no littering, being rowdy, vandalising, cutting in line, damaging the landscape and other "uncouth behaviours" like lying on the ground.

But the theme park was trashed before it even opened with crowds flocking to the site to check out the new rides and attractions.
