Man taken to court after building bizarre ‘Brexit border control’ from WHEELIE BINS and demanding passports from his neighbours
Mathew Lewis White fined after headbutting man who refused to show passport

A MAN has been fined for building a bizarre Brexit border checkpoint in his street out of wheelie bins then headbutting a neighbour who refused to show his passport.
Mathew Lewis White, 22, also added children’s toys, a push chair and bits of fencing to his bonkers barricade, three days after the EU referendum.
He put up a sign that read “The road is closed. EU border crossing” during the odd stunt in Sea View Road in Skegness.
His self-imposed border control descended into violence when he assaulted motorist Adrian Carrington-Hunt, who did not have his passport with him.
Mr Carrington-Hunt was on his way home from a night shift when he got stuck at the makeshift barrier at 6.55am on June 26.
Despite telling him he was British, White would not let him pass and attacked him when he got out to clear a path so he could drive through.
The said White then charged at the driver and headbutted him.

He asked: “Now what are you going to do?”
When police arrived to arrest him, he said he could not remember assaulting Mr Carrington-Hunt, but later admitted it in court.
His victim suffered cuts and grazes to the side of his mouth.
White had spent the night before drinking heavily and was still drunk on the morning of the incident, three days after the UK voted for Brexit.
Dan Pietryka, prosecuting, described White as being “well in drink”.
White told the court he was on benefits and had not worked for a year.
Magistrates in Skegness imposed a 12-month conditional discharge, told him to pay Mr Carrington-Hunt £100 compensation and ordered him to pay £105 in costs.
