Street sex scandal lad named and shamed by pals

THE family of an Irish student caught with his pants down performing a sex act in a Thailand street are “devastated”.
Ian O’Sullivan, 24, handed himself into Thai police after he was filmed engaged in a lewd act in an alleyway on the holiday island Phi Phi.
The second-year Recreation and Leisure Management student at Cork Institute of Technology and a 21-year-old female American exchange student were fined £44 (2,000 baht) and forced to pray for forgiveness.
Pals of O’Sullivan admitted yesterday they were shocked to learn he was the person at the centre of the sex scandal.
One young man said: “We started to realise it was Ian when we saw the video on Saturday.
“It’s really hard to believe it is him as he is a real upstanding guy.
“His family will be devastated.”
In the video, the American girl in a white bikini kneels in front of Mr O’Sullivan performing a sex act.
