Morrisons issue recall for its £10 Busy bee children’s party cake because it may contain Salmonella
The supermarket giant has issued an urgent recall on the cake amid fears people could become severely ill from eating it

A MORRISONS Busy Bee children's birthday party cake has been withdrawn because it may contain Salmonella.
The UK's fourth-largest supermarket was forced to urgently ask customers who have bought the cake to return it amid fears they could fall dangerously ill.
Salmonella causes food poisoning that leads to diarrhoea, stomach cramps and sometimes vomiting and fever.
On average it takes between 12 and 72 hours for symptoms to develop after ingesting an infectious dose of salmonella and the illness can last up to seven days.
Young children and the elderly are most at risk of becoming severely ill, as they have weaker immune systems.
The cake, which is a soft sponge filled with lemon curd and buttercream wrapped in icing and hand decorated with icing flowers and bee, has a best before date of August 4.
The Bradford-based supermarket said: "Routing testing has identified that a low level of Salmonella may be present in the above product.
