Police boats and helicopter search the Thames near Tower Bridge as hundreds party at Euro 2020 fan zone

POLICE searched the Thames near Tower Bridge last night as hundreds of people partied at a nearby Euro 2020 fan zone.
Three boats and a helicopter scoured the area just yards from Potters Fields Park.
Cops rushed to the scene after a member of the public reported a man in the water.
But in an update this morning, it was confirmed no-one was found.
Southwark Police wrote on Twitter: "Met officers were working on and around the river last night after a member of the public reported a man in the water near to HMS Belfast.
"Extensive searches were conducted but nobody was found."
It came as hundreds gathered on the green on Friday to watch the first match of the tournament.
Pubs on the banks of the river were packed with revellers celebrating after Italy's 3-0 win over Turkey.
Pictures show the boats flashing their emergency blue lights as they rushed up and down the waterway.
They appeared to be searching each side of HMS Belfast and further upriver near London Bridge.
A police helicopter was also seen circling over the river close to the Shard.
