THIS is the dramatic moment a barrel-rolling race car crashed into a video tower - sending an ITV cameraman plummeting to the ground.
Footage shows the Chevrolet crashing over the track barrier and into the 12ft-high structure - collapsing it while cameraman Phil White was perched on its platform.
Miraculously, he remained conscious after the crash at the British Touring Car Championship race at Snetterton, though he was said to have been shaken up.
The Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Hunter Abbott, is seen clipping another vehicle as they hare down a straight.
Knocked off course, it then barrels into the barrier. Although it prevents the car from hitting the tower at full speed, the tail of the car clips its support poles.
It then collapses, sending Phil crashing into the grass.
According to , the race was stopped immediately and repairs were undertaken to the barrier.
It was the second crash to occur on Sunday after a violent smash earlier in the afternoon.
